He has served as District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka and Norshingdhi, and worked in different important Ministries and government organizations. He has traveled widely to different countries of the world as a government representative. As a government official, he has participated in various training and seminars on finance, monetary policy, and public administration.
He is associated with different socio-economic and cultural organizations. He is a permanent member of Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, Dhaka, and a life member of the Norshingdhi Diabetic Association. He is also the Director of Asset Growth Ltd and NIPPON Outsourcing BD LTD.
He obtained his Honors and post-graduation degree in Public Administration from the University of Dhaka. He also obtained his MBA degree in HR Management from Northern University, Dhaka.
