He is a retired government official who previously served as an Additional Secretary. He is from BCS 1985 and has 34 years of experience in administration and as an Admin Cadre. He has worked in various districts under multiple designations, but he is most renowned for his active work as District Magistrate & Deputy Commissioner in Sylhet. He has also served under various important Ministries and government organizations, including Addl. Secretary of Housing & Works, CEO of DSCC, and a Member of the National Board of Revenue.
As a government representative, he has traveled to several nations to attend seminars on government policy and public administration. He is also associated with different socio-economic and cultural organizations, such as the National Poet Nazrul Mancho & Music School in Muradnagar, Comilla. He is the Secretary-General and Life Member of Uttara Officers’ Club, Dhaka, a Member of Dhaka Officers’ Club, a Member of BOF Golf Club, and a Life Member of the Diabetic Association of Bangladesh. He is also a Member of the Board of Advisors of National Health Network and a trustee of Sylhet Overseas Center.
He leverages his qualifications for the betterment of the people and utilizes his resources efficiently to make a positive change. His extensive knowledge and experience have allowed him to establish valuable connections and achieve significant milestones that have a direct impact on society.
He has authored several books and has multiple credentials. He is also the Founder Member of Bangladesh Club Limited and the founder of Sylhet Art & Autistic School, Sylhet Inclusive School & College, and Khan Bilal Govt. Primary School in Kashiani, Gopalganj, and Morium Badsha Govt. Primary School.
He holds an Honors and post-graduation degree in Social Science from Dhaka University and has also earned MBA, LLB, and LLM degrees.
